Square Tower

Travelling along Shrewsbury’s town walls you will see this remnant of the town’s medieval defences, sitting next to elegant Georgian houses. While this ancient watchtower still has arrow slits and castellations, it’s now a comfy holiday apartment operated by National Trust.
